I bit my tongue today. Hard. Hard enough to fill my mouth with the taste of blood. My mind went blank from the pain and I froze, fists clenching and unclenching. Forehead furrowed, eyes screwed shut, the room spun around me. And then I was here. The bus was old and was so was I. Luckily I suppose I am not so susceptible to rust and reclamation by nature, but I did feel the weighty torment of time. I can still taste the blood. Still feel the agonizing pain of the wound. One day this tormented will end. Until then...
